The apps included in the list above and discussed below require minimal time to earn money.
If you have free time, we don’t think you should be filling out a bunch of surveys to earn a few extra bucks.
Instead, you should be focusing on how you can increase your long-term earnings.

5 Reasons You Shouldn’t Focus on Making Easy Money Online Fast
Now, back to the ways to make money with little time or effort.
Below is an overview of each of the apps or websites that will make money or “save” money for you.
We have downloaded and/or signed up to all of these and tried them out before putting them on this list unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Still, you should do your research before using any of the apps or websites.
Some ask for personal information and require you linking a credit card to receive rewards.
Achievement | Make Money Walking
Achievement is an app and website where you can earn points for walking, reading articles about health, and completing short health-related surveys.
It’s pretty easy to set up by linking it to your Apple Health app which tracks your steps.
You earn $10 for every 10,000 points you receive. Just looking at points received for walking, you earn around 2.7 points for every 1,000 steps. Doing some rough math that means that you earn $10 for every 1,500 miles walked.
This is great for people who walk a lot or run consistently. You can quickly see how fast you may earn $10 by looking at your average daily steps or miles.
There are also surveys and articles from time to time that earn you points.
The best part is that you can set it all up and then forget it while still earning points.

Bumped | Receive Stock and ETF Investments Shopping and Dinning Out
Bumped is an app where investments into stocks or ETFs are awarded to you when you make specific purchases at various businesses.
Essentially, you link credit or debit cards that you use for your purchases to your account. Then you select specific businesses in different loyalty categories. Here is an example:
After you’ve done those two steps and the general sign-up steps, there isn’t much else to do.
There are some restrictions on how often you can change your loyalties but other than that it is pretty easy to receive investments.
It’s mostly a set it and forget it type of money making app.

Rakuten Ebates | Make Money Shopping Online and In-Store
Rakuten which was formerly known as Ebates offers all kinds of cash back rewards for shopping.
The most common way to earn cash back is online shopping.
You activate the cash back before making the purchase either through the app, website or browser add-on.
After you make the purchase, your Rakuten account is credited with the cash back.
You can also link cash back rewards to your credit card for in-store purchases.
The most important thing about Rakuten is that you have to activate the cash back offer before making the purchase.
Depending on how you shop, this can result in some extra time required to receive the reward.
But, this potential inconvenience is outweighed by the amount of different businesses and opportunities for cash back on the money making website and app.

Dosh | Make Money Shopping and Dinning Out
Dosh is an app that you can use while shopping to earn cash back at various percentages.
The Dosh app is pretty easy to use. You link your credit or debit cards to your Dosh account.
When you make purchases online or in-store at the listed business, you receive cash back.
It’s a pretty easy set up and doesn’t require any pre-activation of the cash back offers.
However, the downside is that there are less businesses listed on the app so there are less opportunities to earn cash back for your purchases.
Still, if there are stores or restaurants that you go to listed on the Dosh app, it’s a great way to earn some extra money on your purchases.

Sweatcoin | Make Money Walking
Sweatcoin is an app that rewards you for walking. Essentially, Sweatcoin tracks your steps and rewards you for those steps.
The reward for you steps are sweatcoins. You can apply sweatcoins various offers including cash.
The Sweatcoin app can be somewhat confusing and limiting.
First, you have to keep the app running the background which means you don’t force quit. If you do force quit, the app cannot count your steps.
Second, there are only a few offers each day. We’ve always seen an option to redeem sweatcoins for money but we’re not sure if this is always the case.
Last, there are daily limits on the amount of sweatcoins you can receive for walking. You can increase the daily limits but this requires you paying sweatcoins each months.
This might result in you taking some time (not great) to figure out which daily limit is best for you.
Still, at the end of the day you’re receiving points for walking that you can potentially redeem for cash.
And, since we all walk, it’s an easy way to earn money with little time or effort.
